Self catering cottage for the relaxed holiday that you deserve Rating: 0.00 (0 votes) Seilie Cottage is located in the conservation area of Gardenstown. It is a traditional fisherman’s cottage that was built prior to 1870. We have strived to tastefully decorate Seilie Cottage to a superior quality, and have been awarded a 4-star rating with Visit Scotland. This last year we have been busy making improvements which include a newly refitted bathroom, reopening the fireplace in the lounge, and building a stone patio in the back garden. There is also a double futon in the lounge. A short walking distance from the cottage is a pub, a butcher, a baker, and a small gallery.
Gardenstown, or Gamrie as the locals call it, is a quaint seaside village that is terraced amongst the red sandstone cliffs.
The scenery will amaze you from the picturesque harbour, to waves crashing against the rocks, or just the cliffs themselves in all their majesty.
